Dr. Scott B. O’Connor, DPM, FACFAS

Board-Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Scott O’Connor is a highly experienced, board-certified foot and ankle surgeon with over 28 years of clinical and surgical expertise. He is the founder and operator of Premier Podiatry, with locations in Bloomington and Pontiac, Illinois, where he specialises in the surgical treatment of foot and ankle deformities, diabetic conditions, and sports-related injuries.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. O’Connor owns and operates the Bloomington branch of Neurogenx, offering advanced, non-invasive treatment for peripheral neuropathy and nerve-related disorders. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rear foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. O’Connor has played an active role in podiatric education as a residency training instructor and has served on several medical and outpatient surgery center boards. His hospital affiliations include OSF Saint James/OSF Saint Joseph Medical Centers, Eastland Medical Center, and Eureka Community Hospital.

He holds a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine) and completed advanced surgical training through a fellowship at the Foot and Ankle Surgery Center in Indianapolis.
